
There is much to do in and around the Park. In the area are several towns that host town festivals in the summer (Spud Festival in Big Lake, Rodeo in Clearwater, Corn Feed and Chicken Fry in Clear Lake, and the 4th of July celebrations).
In addition to our own executive golf course, the area boasts several championship golf courses; Territory Golf Club, Kimball Country Club, Pebble Creek, Albion Ridges, Monticello Country Club, Silver Springs, and Wapicada Country Club.

About two miles north of the Park is the charming little town of Clear Lake, Minnesota. In Clear Lake, you can find a meat market, convenience store, hardware store, gas station, sports bar, and a Catholic and Lutheran church. The town also has some antique shops to sell a variety of old-time goods.
Four miles to the west of the Park is the historic river town of Clearwater. The town boasts a new Coborns and shops.
Also in town is American Legion, a bait shop, several restaurants, and a motel. In early August, music can be heard in the shopping center parking lot as residents and visitors celebrate the town in a mix of brats, corn, a parade, polka music, and fireworks.
St. Cloud lies about 15 miles directly northwest of the Park along Stearns County Road 8. The City of St. Cloud is a growing central Minnesota community that offers many amenities and attractions. The city is home to St. Cloud State University and a beauty school. It also has a top-notch hospital and airport.
While in St. Cloud, be sure to check out beautiful Clemens Munsinger Gardens, located on the banks of the Mississippi. In the city, you will find some of the Twin Cities major restaurant chains such as the Olive Garden, TGIF, LeeAnn Chin’s and Timberlodge Steakhouse. And shopping can’t be beaten with new shopping malls and even a Sam’s Club. St. Cloud is the shopping Mecca of Central Minnesota.
St. Cloud is also surrounded by the neighboring cities of Waite Park, Sartell, and Sauk Rapids, MN.
About 15 miles just southeast of the Park is the town of Monticello. The town has a hospital, theater, Target, and several restaurants. Roughly 10 miles southeast of Monticello is the state’s largest outlet mall located in Albertville.
And, not far away is the Wright County Swappers Meet – Minnesota’s largest outdoor market located near Annandale, MN.
These towns are surrounded by some of the best fishing lakes in the area and only an hour and a half drive to the state’s well-known resort area, Brainerd, Minnesota. Brainerd is also home to many world-class golf courses featured in Golf Magazine.
