PARK FACILITIES AND AMENITIES

Travelers offers residents several facilities where social activities can be enjoyed and where park business can be conducted. The Clubhouse is a focal point for the park.  Here members go to get their mail, sign up for various events, where friends can meet to play games, swim in our large heated pool, or to the first tee for a round of golf on our excellent 9-hole executive golf course.

On any given weekend, the Activity Building serves as a place where families can schedule reunions, Park events can take place and Sunday services are held.

The Activity Building was designed as a multi-use structure complete with a kitchen and bathrooms. The building has been used for dances, bingo, church services, family get-togethers, park sponsored activities, and park meetings.

ACTIVITY BUILDING

A meeting place for family gatherings and social activities.

Meeting at travelers country club on the mississippi

Check out our Activity Building. The space covers roughly 900 square feet and is a multi-use building used throughout the season for a variety of activities and functions.

It has a full kitchen, restrooms, and a fireplace and sound system. Park members can reserve the building for social functions such as the Patriot Guard parade and luncheon TCCOM hosted (see photo). Note: our activity building is available for club members to reserve – it is not available to the public.

CLUBHOUSE

There’s always something going on at the Clubhouse

The clubhouse is a multi-level multi-use building. If you need help, check with the Park Office. There is someone in the office Monday thru Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm who would be happy to answer your questions.

Outside of the office in the upper level is a large room just right for using the free Wi-Fi, playing cards or socializing with friends.

Downstairs is the library where members and their guests can just sit and read a book or do a puzzle (possibly while doing laundry), or check out a book or DVD / video. Members volunteer their time to organize books and keep the room organized.

Need to wash some clothes? Why go to town? TCCOM has a row of coin-operated washers and dryers that are available for use by members and their guests.

CHURCH

Sunday Church Services at TCCOM

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. folks from all denominations gather at the activity building for a time of fellowship, coffee, treats and worship.

A mix of music groups and visiting pastors minister to the members in song and teaching.
Church service is from 10:00 to 11:00 am with a coffee fellowship preceding the service at 9:40 am. Our services are nondenominational, and everyone is welcome. Please join us.

GIVE ‘N TAKE

Want a good usable item for FREE?

Give ‘n Take is a free thrift exchange for small household items in good usable condition. If you have something that someone else might be able to use, drop it off at the Give ‘n Take building instead of throwing it in the trash dumpster. If you need something for your household, Give ‘n Take might have just what you want for FREE!

There is also a bulletin board where you can post larger items for sale (or for free) located just south of the Pickleball courts.

(Give ‘n Take is located just southwest of the Activity Building.)
