Members receive two complimentary annual golf passes per Lot. In addition, they can get annual golf passes for children and grandchildren under 18 years of age for $20.00 each ($100 cap per family/lot) and guest tickets for everyone else. An unlimited daily guest ticket is $15.00. Books of tickets are also available at the Clubhouse Office at a discount. Also, active military guests golf free. Just bring your military ID.
Yes, there are several courses in the surrounding area.
Initial construction began in 1978 and was finished in 1979. Since then, improvements have been made throughout the park to enhance the value. To learn more about the beginning of the Park, click here.
Bylaws, rules and regulations have been established for your safety and enjoyment. Pets are accepted, but must be kept on a leash per Minnesota Department of Health.
Travelers Country Club on the Mississippi (TCCOM) is a seasonal park, open from April 15th to October 15th when the water is shut off for the winter. It is around this time that we can have our first frost and our snowbirds head south. Our maintenance manager is in the park during the off-season to repair equipment for next season, maintain the streets (plow snow, etc.) and monitor security in the park. Security cameras aid in securing the access points to the park for 24/7, 365 days a year security surveillance.
Motor homes, travel trailers and park model trailers are allowed in the park. Members enhance the value of their properties by adding screened porches, Minnesota rooms (up to 400 sq./ft.), three season porches, decks and gazebos. The annual dues cover common building and grounds taxes, sewer and water, garbage collection at a designated location, street lighting, and general park maintenance, use of the clubhouse, swimming pool, golf course and Pickleball, tennis, basketball courts, bocce ball, etc. Owners are responsible for their own electric, propane gas, telephone, TV, Internet (there is free Wi-Fi at the Clubhouse), and personal property tax (on their unit).
Yes, but we ask that they register at the park office.
No. The IRS restricts rentals because we are a private, non-profit corporation. Per the IRS, individual shareholders cannot profit from their ownership in the Park.
Lot size varies within the park depending on location. Generally, lots range in size from 30 to 35 feet by 75 to 125 feet.
Members own a share in the park and receive a lease to a lot. Each member owns 1/299 of the park which includes the facilities (the clubhouse, swimming pool, golf course, etc.) Payment for the operation of the park is through annual dues. Each year when dues are paid in full (due April 15th), the member’s lot lease is renewed.
The park has a seven-member board of directors elected by the membership, which includes a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer of the corporation.
Yes. There is fishing either from shore or by boat for crappies, bass, northern pike, Muskies and walleyes. Members have reported catching small mouth bass, walleye, northern pike and Muskie as well as pan fish. This area of the Mississippi is known to produce some of the best small mouth bass in Minnesota.
Yes. In addition to the Clubhouse, there is an Activity Building for church services, pot lucks, bingo, Park Board of Director meetings and other large gatherings. Members may rent this facility for parties and gatherings. Recent updates in the Activity Building include the addition of air conditioning, an updated kitchen and bathrooms. There are also our Caddy Shack at the first Tee, Give ‘n Take building by the activity building, park maintenance and equipment buildings, storage buildings, and our Welcome Building at the park entrance.
TCCOM offers a 9 hole executive golf course, heated swimming pool, Pickleball/tennis/basketball courts, bocce ball, horseshoes and shuffleboard, boating and fishing. In the clubhouse there is an area for meetings, card games, free Wi-Fi, etc. The lower level of the clubhouse includes a laundry room, library and games room.
Yes, we have a laundry room in the lower level of the clubhouse with 8 coin operated high efficiency front load commercial washer/dryer units and one top load washing machine.
